About Newtown Pools

Building Pools. Building Trust.

Newtown Pools has been proudly serving Newtown and the Newtown area for almost 25 years.

Our founder Pat McDougall began his began his career building pools in Southern Connecticut in 1984. He quickly realized he could utilize a variety of construction and mechanical skills past down from his father such as excavation, masonry, hydraulics, etc. It became the perfect career move.

After years working in these various capacities, Pat set out on his own opening Newtown Pools in 1994.

Through hard work, determination and a constant focus on customer satisfaction, Newtown Pools has become one of Fairfield County’s most successful and largest pool companies.

Pat has been extremely blessed to have put together some of the most knowledgeable and creative pool builders and service staff in the area. These people are at the heart of our success and continue training annually through industry seminars and in-house hands-on classes.

In 2006 Newtown Pools moved to it’s new showroom and retail facility one block from it’s original location on Route 25. This past year we’ve been able to provide even better services to our customers by stocking even more inventory and having faster water testing to get you on your way in minutes.

So if your looking for a bucket of chlorine or would like to have one of our beautiful pools in your backyard, give Newtown Pools a call or stop by our showroom today. We eagerly serve Southern and Central Connecticut, and Putnam County and Westchester County, New York.
